Mr. Bangash specializes in trade defense laws and international trade. He was till recently working with  the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan. His services there included advising the Commission on Pakistan's trade defense laws and all legal issues related thereto (anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguards), conducting hearings, advising various industries on seeking remedies under Pakistan's trade defense laws, advising exporters and the Government of Pakistan on trade defense actions initiated or taken by other WTO member countries. He represented Pakistan in meetings on trade defense laws at the WTO Secretariat, Geneva. Mr. Bangash has represented the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan in about 70 petitions filed before the superior courts of Pakistan.

Mr. Bangash has been involved in drafting  legislation on anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguard measures to implement the relevant agreements of the WTO in Pakistan. He has worked extensively on matters relating to international trade including representing Pakistan in a dispute with Egypt in relation to imposition of anti-dumping duties and advising the Government of Pakistan on free trade agreements with Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Mr. Bangash has been invited as a speaker at various government and private institutions, chambers of commerce and industry and various corporations on trade defence laws and dispute settlement.

Mr. Bangash has been practicing law for over ten years. He completed his BA from the Edwardes College, Peshawar in 1991 and LLB in 1993 from the University of Peshawar. He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Wales.
