Mr. Shaukat provides advisory services in relation to company law, banking and finance, power projects, real estate (conveyancing and development), Anti-dumping and commercial agreements including agency, distributorship, licensing and franchising . He has assisted clients in anti-dumping reviews initiated by the European Commission against the Textile and ethanol manufacturers and exporters in Pakistan.
Mr. Shaukat is an advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and has been litigating cases involving constitutional, corporate, commercial, banking and property disputes. He has several reported judgments which have been published in the law reports of Pakistan. He has also provided assistance in highly significant constitutional cases including the Presidential Reference No.2 of 2005 before the full bench of the Honorable Supreme Court. He also appears before tribunals and regulatory authorities.
Mr. Shaukat received his LLB (Hons) from University of Hull (UK) in 1997 and MSc (Information Systems Development) from London School of Economics and Political Sciences in 1998. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1999. He was a runner-up at the annual Robert Wright Mooting Competition held at Lincolns Inn in 1999. He has been practicing in Pakistan since 2003.
