- Anti-Dumping Investigation: The National Tariff Commission (NTC) has terminated the anti-dumping investigation against import of Flat-Rolled Products of Iron or Non Alloy Steel into Pakistan originating in or from Belgium, Japan, The Russian Federation, Ukraine and USA. RIAALAW was representing exports of the product under investigation before the NTC.
- Petroleum: RIAALAW has recently been appointed as the external Legal Advisors for Government Holdings (Private) Limited ("GHPL"). GHPL is registered as a private limited company under the Companies Ordinance 1984 in Pakistan. GHPL is 100% owned by the Government of Pakistan and operates under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources.
GHPL holds working interest in a total of 72 Joint Ventures which includes 35 Development and Production Leases, 21 Exploration Licenses and 17 Offshore Licenses are under Production Sharing Agreements.
- Power Plant: RIAALAW has acted as project counsel for OMNI Power (Private) Limited for setting up a 12.8 MW gas-fired thermal captive power plant in Sindh. The project is being established under the new policy for Captive Power Plants of 2009.
- Banking & Finance - RIAALAW has finalised syndicated structured finance facilities with Standard Chartered and other Syndicate members for a sum of Rs.10.3 Billion for purchase of dry cargo oil tankers. The facility also included issuance of Privately Placed Term Finance Certificates for an amount of Rs.1.3 Billion
- Wind Power: RIAALAW has been engaged by Yunus Brothers Group for setting up a 50MW wind power project in Sindh. Yunus Brothers Group is one of the largest export houses of Pakistan that has grown up remarkably over the last 50 years.
- Wind Power: RIAALAW has been engaged by Sapphire Group (one of the largest textile groups in Pakistan) for setting up a 50MW wind power project in Sindh.
