Mr. Afridi is considered to be an expert in the energy sector having advised the PPIB in its regulatory role and the sponsors of the vast majority of the power projects in Pakistan.
Mr. Afridi received an LL.B from the University of Bristol Law School in 1987 and an LL.M in International Business and Trade Law from Fordham University in 1990. He served as an intern with the Dubai and Jebel Ali offices of Afridi & Angell during 1988 and 1989. Before re-joining the Firm in 1993, he worked as an associate at the New York offices of the law firm of Sidley & Austin. He is admitted to the Pakistan and New York Bars.
